About this course

The Safeguarding Children Level 3 (UK) course provides comprehensive professional development for practitioners and professionals who work with children and young people. It develops learners’ knowledge, skills, and confidence to fulfil their safeguarding responsibilities in line with UK statutory guidance and professional best practice. The course explores the foundations of safeguarding, key legislation and statutory frameworks, the recognition and response to abuse and neglect, contextual safeguarding risks, exploitation, online safety, radicalisation, and other contemporary safeguarding concerns. Learners also develop an understanding of professional boundaries, safer recruitment, multi-agency working, information sharing, and appropriate responses to safeguarding disclosures and concerns. The course includes multiple assessments with explanations to reinforce understanding and test knowledge of key safeguarding principles and procedures.
