Safeguarding Level 2 is a CPD-accredited online course designed for education and youth-work professionals who regularly work with children and young people across schools, colleges, youth services, and community settings. The course provides a practical foundation in UK safeguarding principles, legislation, statutory guidance, professional responsibilities, and reporting procedures. Across three progressive modules, learners explore what safeguarding means, how to recognise abuse, neglect, exploitation, online harms, and other safeguarding risks, and how to respond appropriately when concerns arise. The course places particular emphasis on early identification, accurate recording, timely reporting, information sharing, professional boundaries, and the role of the DSL. Learners also apply their knowledge through realistic scenarios, complete a knowledge check and final assessment, and receive a CPD certificate upon successful completion.
